Repeating Arms, Joe's Truck Stop, California Howdy

On Friday, August 10th The Yellow Cab Tavern is pleased to welcome back The Repeating Arms for their first Dayton proper show in quite some time! Joining in on the night will be great sets from Cincinnati's Joe's Truck Stop and the newer Dayton collective, California Howdy. Doors open at 8pm and tickets are $7 in advance or $10 at the doors.

The Repeating Arms

The Repeating Arms try to write songs from the heart; songs that they care about. The five piece produce a progressive, fast driving string band with heavy use of vocal harmonies for a sound that feels contemporary and timeless in its influences.

Joe's Truck Stop

Joe's Truck Stop is a Country Blues band with a unique sound realized by traditional vocal harmonies, tight arrangements, and hot picking. They meld these together through the country blues lexicon employing Bluegrass drive, Honky Tonk swing, Old Time fiddling, Surf Rock, Rockabilly, and whatever else spurs inspiration.

California Howdy

A collective of talented musicians from a number of different roots rock groups from across the Miami Valley, California Howdy are the perfect soundtrack to a dive bar that maybe still allows smoking.
