Joseph Airport Space is large. That's why it took five years for Joseph Airport to complete the parallel-dimensional split-personality sci-fi epic C O S M O S I S. "It's too bad she won't live." Originally conceived as a 52-minute rock opera, the lean and mean March 14 2020 release on Joseph Airport Records (vinyl/CD/digital) marks the end of a journey. Or perhaps the beginning. This may well be the middle, if the Empire Never Ended. "It's Bram before Dram." Ghosts implode and spirit covens meet on the windswept wilds of Mars. Flash Gordon laments his lot in life while H.G. Wells hunts perps in parallel worlds. "I'm sorry ... I can't do that, Dram." Nothing is as it seems but it's exactly what you think. Featuring tracks recorded in Dayton, Detroit, and at Tobin Sprout's Moonflower Studio, and mastered in Ohio by Todd Tobias, C O S M O S I S is Joseph Airport's most cohesive and definitive statement.

Smug Brothers Now based in Columbus, Smug Brothers released three albums in 2019 - most recently All Blue And Spark which was described by the Fire Note as "a mighty fine Smug Brothers album... (that) can take you from a head-nodding mellow jaunt to a jangly post-rock sprint."
