Cricketbows Movie Shoot w/ XL427

Like everything that Cricketbows does, this is a little bit out of the ordinary. It's a music performance but it's also a movie shoot.

Then Cricketbows will fill the night with weirdness like only we can do.

We are asking everyone that comes to really dress up. Some people will definitely be casual so don't worry if you can't come in costume, but if you can, PLEASE do! Some people will be dressed fancy. Some people will be dressed like it's Halloween. Some people will be dressed as characters. Some people will be in hippie/gypsy, bohemian attire, some people will be dressed sexy. Some people will dress like they're from a Road Warrior world.

Some of you will be asked to be characters who will be followed at the show and we will also want to shoot some stuff with you outside the show.

We're working all of this out on the fly right now but the premise is this:

It's kind of a surrealist Cricketbows Magical Mystery Tour wherein

a psychedelic type drug has been manufactured that allows the user to instantly access the collective consciousness in a sort of strange surreal world where Cricketbows lives. We will film selected show participants and ourselves in the mundane daily lives - jobs, home, band practices, whatever - then they will all have some reason to decide to take the drug - which shuttles them into a wild ride of a live show with all kinds of crazy shit going on - but also into little side worlds that we can shoot separately. In the woods, in public places, in weird rooms with weird activities going on - with our performances and songs for the backdrop. It's gonna be trippy and weird. And a whole lot of fun. We're going to have roving Tarot readers, dancers, and many other surprises. We're going to be doing live painting on human canvases. It's gonna be cool.

Since this is still a typical show at a typical venue with an opening band we're still going to charge at the door. The cost to get into the show will be $10. Everyone that pays will be given a $10 Gift Certificate for Wells & Co. Custom Tattoo that can be used at the shop for any Tattoos or merchandise - or you can gift it to a friend, or sell it on the street to recoup your $10 entry. We'd love to do this as a free show but we have to take care of the venue, the opener and we're putting our portion to the final physical release of the movie. We hate doing GoFundMe's and Kickstarters so we won't be doing that.

If we've spoken to you about being a camera person or work/crew member you will be guest listed and will not have to pay a door charge.
