Canal Street Stories

Canal Street Stories

Event Details:
Saturday, January 6, 2018 - 7:00pm

Mick Montgomery is writing a book and wants your Canal Street Tavern stories!

Come join us for a celebration, reunion, and special evening of storytelling of this venue that has deeply influenced so many in this town.

If you ever listened to music here, worked here, drank here, or just hung out here, this show is for you - A chance to catch up.

There will be curated stories on the main stage, some funny, some serious, all illuminating. We bet you will learn something new about Canal Street Tavern that you didn't know.

Mick Montgomery will be on hand with stories of his own and available to give us the real scoop!

If you have a great CST story you would like to tell on the main stage, please contact Gladgirl Shelly at Shellyhulce@gmail

In addition, there will be an opportunity before the main show to tell your own stories - helping preserve the legacy of this Dayton institution for future generations. Juliet Fromholt from WYSO and Terry "Izzy" Martin from Gem City Podcast - will be collecting stories in the afternoon before the event - you can contact them directly to schedule a time to record your story.
